Management Information Services - Application Development and Support

Application Development and Support (ADS) develops, enhances and maintains all major DHHR computer applications. This includes implementation support and development of Data Marts/Warehouses, Web development, and technical project management for outsourced applications.

ADS is responsible for major DHHR projects such as OSCAR enhancement and maintenance programming, as well as, enhancement and maintenance support for the very important FACTS, STORC, and RAPIDS projects.

The ADS unit maintains departmental programming standards throughout the DHHR.

Members of the ADS Web team provide technical support and development for the DHHR Web site as well as create websites for Bureaus and Offices for both the Internet and Intranet. They also organize and coordinate internal technical user groups within DHHR.
