Adults

Adults have different concerns when it comes to whether or not they are fully protected against Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD's).   This portion of the Immunization Program's website is dedicated to providing the adults in WV with information pertaining specifically to them.

Many adults believe that they received all the necessary immunizations while in school. The reality is that WV has an entire population of adults that do not have their hep B or Tetanus updates done.

A new vaccine to prevent shingles is now available for people aged 60 years and older.

We have also provided a current adult immunization schedule for you to view and print.

If a shot record has been lost, please try the following tips.
